CUSHY TUSHY CLOTH DIAPERS GIVEAWAY

Cushy Tushy Cloth Diapers {review & giveaway}

A bunch of great cloth diapers! Cushy Tushy sent us a RearZ Velour Fitted diaper, a Flair Snap Prefold, and aCouture Cover with a Sherpa prefold. It was fluffy mail extraordinaire at the West Coast Mama house when our Cushy Tushy package arrived! Little mr. bean was so excited to open his fluffy mail and ran around the house yelling “yay, new diapers!”
For night time, we are always on the lookout for the perfect fitted diaper. The Velour Fitted diaper is made of a velour/terry fabric of 100% cotton and the inside is the softest, most luxurious unbleached cotton velour you can imagine. Then, hidden between these two layers of heaven is a multi layered terry soaker and a water barrier just before the last layer. I must say, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a fitted diaper that also has a water barrier sewn right into it. I can see using this diaper quite a bit in the summer time when it’s just too hot for mr. bean to wear anything but iaper. The extra waterproof barrier means I won’t have to worry too much about leaks because I don’t have a cover on it. For night time, this diaper is very absorbent. Usually we have to add an extra doubler for our overnight fitted diapers, but not with the RearZ fitted diaper. No extra doubler needed. Plus, both of our wool covers, a Sbish and a Nifty Nappy fitted well over this diaper. The RearZ is a very padded diaper, but for night time, it’s perfect for the extra absorbency.
Rearz flair diapersThe next diaper we got to try out was the Flair Snap Prefold. Snaps on a prefold = awesome as far as I’m concerned. I wish I had these when mr. bean was a newborn! Figuring out how to use a prefold and then manage to get a snappi on takes a bit of practice. With a Flair Snap Prefold, no practice needed. Since mr. bean is a heavy wetter, they weren’t the best for him at 21 months old without some extra inserts for absorbency. For a newborn or infant, these are perfect. I definitely have them on my must-have cloth diaper gift giving list!
